6ix9ine Transferred to New Facility for “Security Reasons”
E! News is reporting that 6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, has confirmed that the rapper has been transferred to a new facility for “security reasons.”
Recall that the FEFE rapper and his team members were arrested in New York days ago on federal charges. And U.S. Magistrate Judge Henry B. Pitman was presented with “troubling” corroborating evidence offered by a prosecutor to show that 6ix9ine directed or participated in multiple acts of violence over the last eight months.
The rapper and his associates were reportedly part of the Nine Trey gang, who “wreaked havoc on New York City, engaging in brazen acts of violence,” federal prosecutors said.
6ix9ine, who was held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, is facing a mandatory minimum sentence of 32 years in prison and as much as life. Now, he has been transferred and his lawyer says it was for his protection.
We can’t wait to see how this pans out.
