Gabrielle Union Explains How to Pronounce Daughter Kaavia James’ Name

Gabrielle Union is just so obsessed with her new bundle of joy!

The 46-year-old actress took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon (November 17) to share a photo of herself cuddling with daughter Kaavia James – while also explaining how to properly pronounce her name.

“Just greazzzy and happy. That is all. @kaaviajames pronounced Kah-Vee-Uh James. She has 102 nicknames including but not limited to Kaav, Kaavi, Kaavi Baby, Kaavi J, Jamie, KJ, Nugget, Nug, Pooters,” Gabrielle wrote.

Just last week, Gabrielle and husband Dwyane Wade revealed that they welcomed their baby girl via surrogacy.

“We wanted to include my family in her name so the “James” is from my uncle James Francis Glass who is also my godfather,” Gabrielle continued. “Union is her middle name. I’ve waited this long so fo sho I was gonna get in there.”
